In the manufacturing process of ethanol gasoline for automobiles, the water content in ethanol is required to be very low to avoid the formation of unwanted substances in the internal combustion engine of the automobiles. Utilizing an extremely porous composite consisting of zeolite and binder, the complete separation of ethanol and water can be achieved. These composites, known as molecular sieves, are the most economical way to dry ethanol.
